Dan Payne BA (Hons) APFS

Chartered Financial Planner

I am an independent Chartered Financial Planner, and I have been providing financial advice at Golden Oak Wealth Management since 2019. I am passionate about helping my clients, always aiming to give the best possible advice and service.

I started in the industry after I completed a Financial Services degree in 2001, initially working in London for 9 years before returning to the Midlands to further my career. Recognising the importance of developing my skills and knowledge for my clients, I achieved Chartered Financial Planner status in 2014, the gold standard for IFAs, with a particular expertise in pension, investment and protection planning for individuals as well as for businesses and company Directors.

I have worked with clients and businesses across a massive spectrum of wealth and situation, advising everyone individually and sensitively in line with their personal views and objectives. I aim to provide my clients with knowledge, monitor their implemented strategies, and fulfil their objectives through carefully considered financial planning. I then actively review their circumstances over time, taking account of any changes they may have had, the economic situation and the financial marketplace.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two sons, including coaching mini rugby (my playing days are very much behind me!). I also enjoy watching films, comedy, eating out and music, playing various instruments (although not great at any of them!).
