We are looking to recruit an experienced Independent Financial Adviser, who is proficient in providing financial advice on pensions, investments, protection and inheritance tax planning. Our clients are typically high-net-worth and have complex planning needs, and so you will be expected to provide clarity to clients and deliver the exceptional quality service that they have come to expect.

This is a pure advisory role – paraplanning, administrative and compliance support will be provided, as well as a network of professional introducers. Alongside leads provided by the company, you will be responsible for generating new business and providing regular reviews to an existing client book.

About you:

  • A positive, can-do attitude is essential
  • Qualified to at least Level 4 Diploma, and working towards Chartered status
  • 3 years minimum experience as a Financial Adviser with a successful track record
  • Able to manage, retain and further grow a client book
  • Strong technical knowledge of financial products and services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • A drive to succeed and deliver a high level of customer service

Paraplanner

We are a well-established, family-owned firm providing independent financial advice on pensions, investments, protection and inheritance tax planning in the heart of Stamford and surrounding areas. As we are expanding, we are looking to recruit an experienced and ambitious Paraplanner to join our team and support the firm’s financial advisers in ensuring that our clients continue to receive a first-class service.

You will be expected to assist our financial advisers in formulating the advice to the client, providing technical support and guidance where appropriate, and preparing suitability reports in accordance with FCA regulations. The ideal candidate will possess great analytical skills and be able to undertake comprehensive research and analysis of financial products and funds. You will also utilise various research tools for technical and tax calculations, as well as creating cashflow models to support our client’s financial plans.

This is a pure paraplanning role – administrative and compliance support will be provided as required.
